The maple is one of the trees one first thinks of when one thinks of Fall foliage. In Texas, one of the few species of maple you'll find is the big-tooth maple, especially in the wild. The first pictures you'll see are from Lost Maples State Park. I can't specifically identify the species but this may actually be a sugar maple.
