Flowers of the Texas Desert

During a recent visit to El Paso, I stopped by the local mountain wilderness park and took these pictures. Technically this is still Texas so this continues with the theme. Unfortunately Spring is the dry season in the West Texas desert, so things are a little drab. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out there again during the late Summer wet season--that's when the desert really blooms!
