Evening-Star Rain-Lily

I thought this one deserved another look, since I got some more pictures of it. This one can be a little hard to find although it's a relatively large flower. This is, of course, a lily, which makes it a relative of the yucca and kin. This may be surprising, but imagine this flower upside down with the petals turned in and you may begin to see some resemblance. This makes this group a very hardy bunch, considering some species live directly in the water and others live in some of the dryest of deserts!
