Texas Virgin's Bower
One might wonder why it is that I feature some flowers, and relegate others to the various flowers pages. Well it's not entirely a careful and calculated plan, but I tend to feature the more common flowers. This one is fairly easy to miss if you're really not out on foot close to the subject. It's a vine and can be commonly seen on fences and has come into bloom in June. It's another one of those interesting spike/fuzzy ball types, much different from your bluebonnets and primroses.
